展览简介：
在强调自我意识与全球意识的当下社会，个体意义的层次集中向两端发展——一端是纯粹的自我的个人，另一端是作为巨大集体社会载体的个人。在这两端之间出现了一个断层——人们对于“附近”的关注日益弱化。
经过一个漫长的待工季度，南希艺术画廊将在五月推出新展“告诉我ta的样子——在附近消失前”。通过展出杜海军、廖扬、刘婷等艺术家的作品为观众呈现艺术家捕捉的“附近”的模样。自然、社区、街头......不同的“附近”视角折射了艺术家们对生活的深度体察，物物相连、事事相关，在这些作品中，人、事、物在附近的场域里相互交织，碰撞出了紧密的联系。通过抽象化或具象化的手法，艺术家在作品中将个体的意义投射到了世界上众多要素的聚合，每个人都不再是一个闭环，不是一个自在自为的主体，而是一个变化着的、历史条件下的聚合。
Introduction of the Exhibition:
In the current society that emphasizes self-awareness and global consciousness, the level of individual meaning tends to concentrate on two sides. One is the individual as the pure self, and the other is the individual as a part of the huge social collective. This phenomenon leads to a deep gap in between, in other words, peoplechr’s concern about "nearby" is weakening.
Through abstraction or figurative techniques, the works of artists project individual meaning to the aggregation of many elements in the world. Everyone is no longer a closed loop, not a free-standing subject, but a changing, Aggregation under historical conditions.
Nancy Art Gallery will launch a new exhibition in May, which named as "Catch the Vanishing Neighbor". Through exhibiting art works of several artists, including Du Haijun, Liao Yang and Liu Ting, audience will get to see the look of "neighbor” captured by the artists. Nature, communities, streets ... various perspectives reflect the artist’s in-depth insight into life. In these art works, objects are all connected, and things are all related, more and more spark is collided within the neighbor field.
杜海军，1978年9月生于江苏宜兴，毕业于中国美术学院。现为中国美术家协会会员，现居上海，是上海市政府重点培养艺术家。杜海军在国内外多次举办展览，数次获得艺术界大奖,包括第十一届全国美展优秀奖,法国沙龙特邀评审团评的绘画类金奖。
在杜的作品中，我们可以看到他对都市化的理解，以及这样的方寸空间是如何低声诉说着城市生活的秘密的。浮华的城市生活，现代的，高效的，甚至是沉重的压力都给他带来了创作灵感。其作品被中国美术馆，韩国领事馆,香港海港城等收藏。
Du Haijun was born in Jiangsu province in 1978, graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts and has won several national and international awards, including the Excellence Award for the 11st National Fine Arts Exhibition, the Golden Award for the International Salon of France.
What we can see in Du’s work is his understanding of how urbanization remoulds cityscape and how such squared residences murmur the secrecy of everyday drama. His “N Windows” has been collected by the National Art Museum of China, and “Window” and “Cellist” by Korean Consulate.

廖扬，1983年生于江西南昌。2005年毕业于上海大学美术学院，后应国家宣传部邀请去上海大学美术学院就职。现为中国美术家协会会员,上海美术家协会会员。
廖扬善于捕捉生活中的点滴细节再呈现到作品中，世俗化的题材加上卡通化的形象处理，令廖扬的作品被许多人关注。其作品《平凡的故事3》入选第十七届全国版画展览。《上海早上八点六十》入选第十八届全国版画展并获优秀作品奖。《小巷故事多》入选第十一届全国美展并获银奖。《入冬》入选第十九届全国版画展览。《迟到的公交》入选第二十届全国版画展览并获优秀奖，作品被中国美术馆、上海美术馆等机构收藏。
Born in 1983, Liao Yang graduated from the Fine Art College of Shanghai in 2005 and later was invited by the Publicity Department to teach in his alma mater. He is a member of Chinese Artists Association and Shanghai Artists Association.
Liao Yang’s work with its close-to-life subjects and catoonish figure is recogonized by the art field. He has created many excellent artworks, like 8:60am in Shanghai was awarded for excellent artworks in the 17th National Prints Exhibition. Furthermore, most of his artworks have been collected by the National Gallery, Shanghai Art Museum, Shanghai Library and Shenzhen Fine Art Institute, etc.

李绿野，1988年生于河南省郑州市，毕业于云南艺术学院雕塑系，获学士学位，随后考入云南艺术学院雕塑专业，攻读硕士研究生。作为一名青年艺术家，李绿野的作品已在国内多次参展，并于2013年，获“美育中国梦”第六届美育成果展学生组一等奖，2014年，“大艺时代-全国青年美术作品展”获铜奖。李绿野的一系列作品以人或动物为主题，以崭新的艺术视角讲述人与自然的故事。
Li Lvye, born in Henan province in 1988, Li Lvye graduated from the Yunnan Academy of Fine Art, majoring in art sculpture in 2012 and then continued his study as a postgraduate there. As a young artist, Li’s artworks have been exhibited for many times and have won the first prize in the 6th exhibition of Aesthetic Education--”China Dream” among student groups in 2013. He has also won the bronze medal in the “Big Era-The National Youth Art Exhibition” in 2014. Li Lvye’s artworks, using human and animals as his creation theme, tell the story of human and nature in a new artistic perspective.

刘婷，云南省德宏师范高等专科学校艺术系副教授。1981年生于浙江省金华市，2008年毕业于西南大学美术学院，油画技法方向硕士研究生。师从于著名画家马一丹，远赴云南高校执教7年，期间创作大量油画作品。曾赴东京、纽约参展。
她的画多为表现主义，毫无功利色彩的女性视角，以及一种带有鲜明主体判断的超常色光运用。刘婷擅长肖像绘画，但其审美诉求并不止于“小我”表达，而试图建立一种与风物及价值的有效共振。虽为江南小女子其作却独显大家风范，用色大胆、技法成熟。
Liu Ting was born in Zhejiang province in 1981, a graduate from Southwest University whose tutor is Ma Yidan, a famous contemporary artist, and has been teaching in a university in Yunnan for 10 years, a remote location of Chinese territory that inspired plentiful oil paintings from her.
In Liu’s expressionistic work there is a utility-free feminine perspective and a super-natural expression of light and color with a strong subjective connotation. Liu paints portraits with an aesthetic pursuit that transcends individualism and embraces scenery and values. Though a petite woman herself, her artworks present bold use of color and mature technique of strokes, a true potential master.
